We are pleased to announce that Mechline has been awarded Supplier of the Year for Light Equipment in the 2020 Kitchen & Equipment Awards Week. The award recognises a supplier who has brought an innovative piece or range of light equipment to the UK market this year. This year Mechline launched HyGenikx into the UK market, and added a new mobile, space-saving, hands-free hand wash basin to its BaSix range.
Due to COVID-19, Catering Insight and FEJ combined their respective award ceremonies to create a joint, week-long special digital event, to shine a light on the industry’s achievements. In rather unique fashion, Mechline was announced as the winner of the light equipment award via a live YouTube stream.
Before the announcement, Andrew Seymour, Editor at Foodservice Equipment Journal, commented that: “The winning company has really captured the market with its timely sanitiser launch proven to eradicate viruses and bacteria in indoor environments”.
We are so honoured to have received this award. Thank you to everyone who voted for us. It is truly appreciated.
A very proud moment in what has been a challenging year.
HyGenikx is an advanced and compact, wall mounted sanitiser system, proven to eradicate viruses and bacteria throughout foodservice and hospitality. The range has models to suit all foodservice environments and occupied areas, including front of house, all food areas, cold rooms, washrooms and refuse areas, as well as other occupied areas, such as offices, waiting rooms and reception areas, both large and small.
Utilising a combination of the most effective air and surface sterilisation technologies available, HyGenikx provides round-the-clock hygiene and safety protection, helping to protect customers and staff, as well as neutralising all odours.
The all new range of space-saving, mobile, hands-free basins facilitates hygienic handwashing in any location—even where water, waste and electric utilities are not available—and the completely portable ‘X’ model provides double the washes per litre of any comparable product on the market.
Models in the range are slimline, easy to manoeuvre thanks to removable castors and a splashback grab handle, and the ‘X’ model can be used in locations without any utilities at all—as it all comes integrated. This means it can be wheeled out daily if necessary, to sit outside an establishment, and with a compact footprint of just 384 x 360mm it is an ideal and reassuring addition to entrances and other small spaces.
Mechline was also awarded Supplier of the Year for Sustainability in the 2020 Kitchen & Equipment Awards Week.
