At Mechline we’ve had a very busy year, business-wise and with our involvement in lots of local and national good causes.
Every month we support a different charity, as nominated by our staff, and this year we have supported:
- January – Dogs on the Streets (DOTS)
- February – Moorfields Eye Charity
- March – Tiggywinkles
- April – Spinal Injuries Association
- May – Meningitis Now
- June – Alzheimer’s Society
- July – Samaritans
- August – Macmillan
- September – Mind
- October – WWF
- November – Royal British Legion
- December – the British Heart Foundation
As well as holding company fundraisers and making a monthly donation we encourage our staff to give their time, effort and skills to enhance the lives of others. This year team Mechline have accomplished some extraordinary feats, all in the name of charity! We’ve had Tom, our Supply Chain Manager, run the London Marathon for the Spinal Injuries Association; John, Director of Quality & Process Improvement, Conquer the Lake District’s 8 Peak Challenge for Meningitis Now; and Peter Galliford, Commercial Director, cycle the notoriously touch John O’Groats to Land’s End cycle trek for Macmillan and the Paul Strickland Scanner Centre in Mount Vernon London.
Thank you to everyone for your support.
