On behalf of everyone at Mechline we’d like to wish all our customers, colleagues, friends and followers a peaceful and restful Christmas and a… much better New Year!
It goes without saying that it has been an incredibly difficult year, full of unprecedented trials and tribulations, for our businesses, personally, and the Foodservice and Hospitality industry at large. It remains a very testing market and time for us all, not helped by recent announcements, however 2021 is just around the corner, with a promise of much better things to come.
If 2020 has taught us anything, it is to be thankful for small blessings. Back in April, Mechline’s long-term partnership with MK SNAP—a Milton Keynes based education and skill building charity for people with learning disabilities—was awarded a prestigious Third Sector Business Charity Award. Mechline has been a proud partner of MK SNAP with its Dormont Gas Hose work training project for almost three decades, which has led to jobs for people with learning disabilities that may not have been possible.
As the Foodservice & Hospitality Industry continues to face very difficult times, we can also be thankful that there are charities like Hospitality Action working endlessly to provide vital support for people and families facing uncertainty. This year we have decided to support Hospitality Action, in the hope of helping many people across our industry. If you would like to find out more, or are able to help, please visit: www.hospitalityaction.org.uk
Finally, a highlight to end the year, Mechline were DOUBLE award winners at the 2020 Kitchen & Equipment Awards! Always striving to lead the way with innovative products to address the ever-increasing environmental concerns in Foodservice & Hospitality, it was a great honour to be recognised by the industry as Supplier of the Year for Sustainability AND Light Equipment. Especially this year when we introduced newest innovations HyGenikx and the Mobile BaSix range.
Thank you to everyone, who supported us, and thank you to all our customers who have chosen to do business with Mechline, especially through these uncertain times. As without your continued support we could not receive this recognition or engage in projects like the one with MK SNAP.
Once again, from all of us at Mechline, we hope you enjoy a well-deserved Christmas break, that you can enjoy time with your families, that you remain safe and well and we look forward to seeing you (in person!) in 2021.
