September 2009

25-27 September, the “Fearless Foursome” finished the Extra Mile Challenge of 500 Miles in 3 days through the Loire Valley. As expected: great weather, good food, fabulous scenery, lovely wine, lots of miles and HILLS – plenty of Hills! As you may remember, the ride was part of the Extra Mile 2009 charity fundraiser to support MK SNAP, Prostate Cancer charity and the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI). So far we have managed to raise, with your support, close to £5000!!! Thank you!
You can read the full ‘Story’ at the following link, and meet some new friends: Andy “Lost” Coulthard; Peter “Toast” Sage-Passant; Ged “Native” Mowatt; and Peter “Pancake” Galliford.
We are so very grateful to all the support we received from Friends, Colleagues and the Trade – So please accept our considerable Thanks. And, it’s never too late to make a donation, if you forgot about it first time round - the Guys at MK Snap, Prostrate Cancer and the RNLI would be really grateful. From MK Snap:

Peter: It was a fantastic achievement not only the taking part but the money you raised, thank you for all your support and please pass on our grateful thanks to the guys taking part in the race and to all those that sponsored you. I have told you many times before how much your support means to us, and that is still true. The other thing that is very special for us is the great relationship that exists between our two organisations and the people that work in them.

ANOTHER AWARD...thank you! Recently, Mechline was awarded CEDABOND's Most Improved Supplier for 2008. We are grateful for Mr Clive Groom's words, of CNG Foodservice Equipment, attributing the award to Mechline's business philosophy & quirky marketing style! Thank you, Clive, for the recognition and kind words. We look forward to maintaining the level of service that attracted Cedabond's attention in the first place and we appreciate the networking opportunity of the entire CEDABOND community.
