Does Mechline provide service calls?
Every effort is made to ensure the product arrives to you in good operational order. If there is trouble with a newer unit (less than a year old), please contact Mechline to invoke Mechline's Returns Policy. Mechline supplies most parts for each product and can supply the part needed to repair the unit.
If service is needed, please contact your original installation company or an Installation Engineer. Mechline does not have service engineers on staff. For QuickLink products, please refer to the QuickLink FAQ button to access the information on companies familiar with QuickLink systems. These are companies trained in the workings of QuickLink units and are happy to quote for service and parts to assist you. Please choose a location nearest you.

Does Mechline provide a Warranty or Guarantee on its products?
Yes. Mechline offers a 'parts only' warranty policy for its products. If the customer suspects that a unit is faulty due to a failed part, the customer is asked to contact Mechline to be issued a Returns Number. The customer will be advised at this time to return the part (product) in question to Mechline for inspection. (It is suggested that a new part be ordered to replace the removed part to avoid disrupting operations.) Mechline will inspect the part and generate a report on its findings. If the part is deemed faulty, a credit will be issued. Carriage costs to return the product are the responsibility of the customer.
Through original product engineering, working with suppliers, in-house product testing and in-house inspection processes, Mechline is proud to back its warranty with in-house procedures designed to provide the highest quality product to the end user. For each range of product, the following procedures are in place to ensure product arrives to you in good operational order:

What is the standard warranty for GreasePaK?
As described above, most of Mechline's equipment is guaranteed
for a period of 12 months from the date of invoice, against
defective parts or faulty workmanship. For Mechline's Warranty
and Returns Policy, please read the document Mechline's
Warranty and Returns Policy.
With regards to GreasePaK, the dosing module is covered
by Mechline's standard warranty policy. However, the fluid
has a shelf life of 18 months and the master box should be
used within 3 months under normal dosing conditions. The fluid
is not a warrantable commodity and neither is the battery,
which should have a shelf life of 18-24 months. These are
basic "consumable" goods and not subject to warranty |
